Taunted by Art Garfunkel's reading list, I decided to keep my own. Then I read Nick Hornby's The Polysyllabic Spree.
I’m sure their conversations with Niflheim’s Provost were all very polite, with no shortage of subtext commenting on my perceived shortcomings, both personal and academic.
